Beef Uppils- Spicy
Simple spicy Beef -dry .

Ingredients
- Beef --- 1 Kg
- Green Chillies --- 22 nos*)
- Onion --- 1 Medium sized
- Garlic --- 6 cloves
- Ginger --- 3 inches
- Capsicum --- 1 small (Wedges)
- Turmeric powder --- ¼ tsp
- Salt --- to taste 1½ tbsp
Method
- Cut the beef into 3/4" cube pieces and place it in the pressure cooker
- Add the sliced onion, green chillies, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, salt and mix everything thoroughly.
- Add a small cup of water and pressure cook for 12-18 mins. (Varies with type of beef cuts and the pressure cooker. Make sure that the beef is not over cooked.)
- Open the pressure cooker and add the capsicum wedges and mix well.
- Squeeze 1/2 a lime and add salt if needed
- Keep it on a low flame till the capsicum becomes semi crunchy and the excess water dries up.
Notes
- * 22 green chillies for a dish? It is extremely spicy immediately after cooking.It tastes almost like no chillies were used the next day and you would wish more chillies were used!!. So the count should depend on when you eat it.
